Today is our 8th Grader's last day! Here is some information our 8th graders wanted to share:...

1. How long have you attended Holy Rosary? We had students from anywhere between 3-10 years

2. What is your most memorable moment at Rosary? Field day and played with the Gaint beach ball. In 2nd grade, my teacher, Mr. Fielder, drew on the whiteboard with a sharpie thinking it was an expo marker, and the marker was stuck on the whiteboard for many years after. When we went on our 8th-grade trip. Hitting a game-winning 3 in a basketball game. Joining the basketball team. Show and Tell in Kindergarten with Mrs. E. When I was with my old friends at the Halloween party after Trunk or Treat we all danced and played games. Being Ms. Hannigan in Annie.

3. What will you miss about Rosary? All the staff and the students, the small classes and being able to know everybody, my friends and the teachers, the special events, hanging out with my friends and classmates that I have known for a very long time, and I will definitely miss the small class sizes and knowing everyone.

4. What high school are you going to? Powers Catholic High School and Grand Blanc High School

5. What are you looking forward to in high school? Making a name for myself and making it to college, meeting new people, and sports, and pushing myself in my education. I am looking forward to meeting new people and having a new challenge.
What I’m looking forward to in high school is joining the basketball team at Powers. I’m looking forward to making new friends and taking new classes. I am looking forward to making new friends and continuing to be a part of the marching band as a color guard member.

6. What is some advice for the students at Rosary? “When you feel like giving up don’t, push through what you feel is hard for you, and say prayer because one that helped me was talking to God he helped me when I did not know what to do.” “My advice is that you do what you need to do and do it for you and do not let stop your grind.” “Some advice I would give students at Holy Rosary is that you should focus on your grades and turn in assignments on time, but also to have fun with your friends and peers.” “Keep your heads up and don’t give up.” “Lock in and have fun at the same time.” “Friends will come and go, but try and find a group of friends that are there for you and can make you laugh. You belong somewhere even if you don’t find your place here.”
