Our 4thβ6th graders turned into grammar detectives this week! To answer the big question βWhat actually makes a sentence?β they went on the move and took on a classroom Sentence Hunt.
They learned that every complete sentence needs two core ingredients:
A Subject (who or what the sentence is about)
A Predicate (what the subject is or does)
Armed with clipboards and keen eyes, students roamed the room analyzing different word strips, testing each one to decide: Complete Sentence or Fragment? Hands-on learning for the win! π‘β¨
