Each year, our students create imaginative projects about made-up illnesses, complete with symptoms, treatments, and creative presentations. This fun tradition combines creativity, writing, public speaking, and lots of laughter!
A special thank you to Mrs. Broderick, who always makes the day extra memorable by dressing up as a nurse and bringing the whole theme to life for our students. 💉❤️ To help our “patients” feel better, Mrs. B even serves soup and Vernors to cure their creative ailments!
Students also spend the day relaxing, reading, playing board games, and enjoying cozy classroom activities all the things you do when you are home sick! It’s a day our 4th and 5th graders look forward to every year.
We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and imagination!
