3... 2... 1... LAUNCH!...

🚀🎈

Our 6th–8th grade scientists have been putting Newton’s Laws of Motion into action this week! 🔬✨

To see physics in real-time, students designed and tested their own balloon rockets—learning firsthand how air pressure, thrust, and friction all work together.

💡 The Big Takeaway:

1st Law: The rocket stays put until the air is released (Inertia).

2nd Law: More air = more force to push the mass down the line (F = MxA).

3rd Law: For every action (air rushing backward), there is an equal and opposite reaction (balloon shooting forward!).

We love seeing our students test hypotheses, make adjustments, and learn through hands-on science! Drop a 🚀 in the comments to cheer on our future engineers!
