Hello, my name is Mrs. Liza Broderick. I currently teach 4th grade ELA and Science, 5th/6th grade Reading, Spelling, and Science, and 7th/8th grade Science. My degree is in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Learning Disabilities which I received from Aquinas College in 2014. Every year I take courses to continue to improve my teaching techniques. I have had the privilege to teach at Rosary since the beginning of my teaching career in 2015. I became a teacher because I love working with children. I love helping them see and reach their potential, as well as develop their spirituality and relationship with God. I look forward to having you in my classroom!
I grew up in Grand Blanc and had so much fun with my older brother and sister. I attended Holy Redeemer for grade school and then Powers Catholic High School. I graduated from Powers in 2009. I live in Clarkston with my husband John whom I met while in college at Aquinas. We have a cat named Millie. Sports has always been a passion of mine. I played basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, and soccer in high school. I even received a sports scholarship from Aquinas College to play both basketball and lacrosse. In 2012, I earned the honor of All-American for lacrosse. After college, I coached at Powers JV basketball for 5 years and Coached JV and Varsity lacrosse for 4 years. I am currently the coach of our girls 5th-8th grade volleyball team along with Mrs. O’Brien.
