🌱🌱
Ever wondered what that cool, glowing white setup in our middle school science classroom is? It’s our Tower Garden!
A Tower Garden is an aeroponic vertical growing system equipped with its own LED grow lights. Instead of using traditional dirt, it delivers nutrient-rich water directly to the plant roots in small pods. This setup lets our students grow fresh, healthy produce year-round indoors while getting hands-on experience with modern agriculture and biology! 🌿🔬
Our classes are putting their green thumbs to work to grow fresh, hyper-local produce for our school cafeteria lunch line! 🥗
Our tiny sprouts have officially popped up, labeled, and are on their way:
🥬 Lettuce
🥬 Kale
🍃 Spinach
🌿 Cilantro
🌶️ Peppers
Keep an eye out for updates as our classroom garden grows! 🚀✨
