Our K–3 graders visited the Sloan Museum to explore ICE DINOSAURS: The Lost World of the Alaskan Arctic 🦖❄️. This immersive, interactive exhibit introduced students to the fascinating world of polar dinosaurs. They learned how these unique creatures adapted to cold, dark, snowy conditions year round 🌨️. The exhibit featured real fossils, animatronic displays, and exciting new discoveries that challenged what scientists once believed about dinosaurs.
Afterward, our 2nd and 3rd graders traveled to the Longway Planetarium to see T. rex: Greatest of All Tyrants 🌌🦕. This incredible giant screen documentary brought the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex to life and gave students a closer look at one of history’s most famous predators.
It was a memorable day filled with curiosity, exploration, and hands-on learning 🔍💡 that truly brought science and history to life!
