Welcome to Holy Rosary!
What are three words that describe yourself?
Funny, Faithful, Determined
What is the one thing you can’t leave the house without?
The one item I cannot leave home without is my cell phone. It has to come with me no matter where I am.
Who inspires you? Why?
My parents do. Seeing the sacrifices that they made to provide me with a Catholic education inspires me to do my very best each and every day. They are amazing role models and I hope to one day be able to be that for others.
What is something that brings you joy?
I have two dogs, Lucy and Duke, and one cat named Gizmo. These three crazy fur children bring joy to me each day with their silly antics and overall funny demeanor’s. I also love coaching football and get an immense amount of joy out of seeing the students grow as athletes.
Which 4 individuals, living or dead, would you like to have dinner with the most?
Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Brantley Gilbert and my mother, because she would kill me for not inviting her to meet all these country singing stars! 🙂
Describe your favorite part of your job.
This one is easy; it is working with the students. Each and every day is a new story, a new beginning as students enter everyday with new experiences and new learning opportunities. Being able to share in their joys and help shape them into amazing individuals, along with their points, is by far my most favorite part of my job.
Tell us something about yourself that people would be surprised by.
I think many would be surprised to know that I originally had such a love and passion for roller coasters that I originally wanted to be a roller coaster designer. I took a few drafting classes in high school and really enjoyed the idea of structural engineering. However, by the time I hit 12th grade, I knew that this was not my path and decided to follow my true passion, education.
Where is your favorite place in the world? And why?
My favorite place in the world is right here. This is where my family and friends are. I could be happy anywhere as long as I am with these people.
What is your favorite part of Holy Rosary?
The faith filled family atmosphere. Everything is centered on the Eucharist and the family feel you get with students, parents and parishioners is unmatched. It is truly a family united with Christ!
